APT uses an individualized curriculum to help increase socially significant appropriate behaviors while decreasing unwanted behaviors

ABA Practices we employ

 

Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)

ABA is a science that uses evidence based practices to effect positive changes to socially significant behaviors.

Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI)

EIBI is used with children under the age of 5 and uses the evidence based practices of ABA.

EIBI typically involves 20-30 hours per week of intensive ABA therapy.

Discrete Trial Training (DTT)

DTT is a teaching tool used in ABA that systematically breaks down tasks into isolated steps

DTT can be used to teach: language, social, self-help skills, and many other things
